Originating from Eastern Europe, this pointed, red cabbage is a beauty. Each head will be ready to cut in the summer/early autumn. There are few outer leaves on ‘Kalibos’ and its high sugar content make this red variety a fantastic choice for eating raw in salads. Try pickling this variety for a sweeter pickle, or cook with red wine, apple and raisins for a luxurious alternative to boiled cabbage.
