Small amounts of leaves can be added to salads but its pride is the show of blue flowers on a shrubby plant adored by bees. Typically reaches heights of 45cm (18″).
Hyssop has rich blue, lipped clustered flowers sat in leaf axils up one side of the stems. Flowers are loved by both bees and butterflies. The stem is square, branching and green and has long aromatic, pointed, dark green leaves which can be slightly hairy.
