A herbeceous perennial wildflower that comes from the mint family. An upright, prickly bush with small pale pink – purple flowers appearing from late June to August. Used as a medicinal herb for strengthening the heart and for female disorders. Also used for calming the nervous system. Produces an abundance of nectar, making this plant very popular with pollinators, especially honey bees and short-tongued bumblebees. Plant in full sun / partial shade. Height 60cm.
