Shiny leaves growing in radiating forma-tion up the stem with small white star shaped flowers in May and June. When dried has the scent of newly mown hay. Used dried in linen cupboards. Fresh leaves and flowers steeped in drinks especially white wine cup. Make a tea to soothe the nerves and to ease headaches. Germination difficult and erratic. Habitat: Woodland.
